CON_は、Julian-Jakob Kneer、Fritz Schiffers、Lukas Stöverによる共作《DOLLY》を初公開いたします。
《DOLLY》 は、かつての静物画のように緻密に構成されながらも現代ハリウッドの映画美学によって映像化された短編作品です。それは、真夜中のドライブという過剰な演出の中に展開される、ひとりの人物の肖像劇。その姿は、コスチュームの襞や背景の陰影、わずかな所作と張り詰めた音の余白によって、徐々に浮かび上がります。名を持たぬその存在は、物語という輪郭を持たず、映像という仮構の中で無数の参照—映画の記憶、消費される美、匿名の夢—と戯れながら、ただそこに“いる”。併せて展示されるプリント作品は、映画の中から滲み出たもうひとつの現実。それぞれが古びた記憶、あるいは失われたフィルムの断片を装いながら、独立した“像”として佇んでいます。一枚一枚に施された劣化の痕跡—疑似的なパティナ—は、過去を装う未来、再生された幻としてのイメージをまとい、スクリーンの光が残した残像のように、静かに、そして確かに語りかけます。映像とプリント。ふたつは互いに寄り添いながら生まれ、相手の文脈となり、ひとつの身体を成す。それは、失われた記憶の美学に捧げられた、反復と再構築の詩。

CON_Gallery is pleased to premier DOLLY and its eponymous presentation.“DOLLY” is a short film, meticulously composed like the still lives from the old masters, but filmed with the cinematic approach of contemporary Hollywood: A character study and chamber play realized through the excessive staging of a nocturnal car ride and rendered in stylized film noir aesthetics. The elusive narrative unfolds through subtle, forensic details in costume and backdrop, immersive sound design and minimal acting—carefully framing an anonymous protagonist, while coquetting with niche and mainstream references from the film industry. Corresponding prints—presented alongside the film—echo the language of commercial cinema while asserting themselves as autonomous works. Distressed to don as aged memorabilia or vintage production stills, each print has undergone a deliberate and individual process of visual degradation: a faux-patina treatment that mimics the aura of lost cinema and manufactured memory. Functioning as a mise en abyme, they extend and refract the film’s aesthetic logic, reflecting the film back on itself. Together, film and print form a single conceptual body—each birthing and contextualizing the other.

”DOLLY” is the first collaboration between Julian-Jakob Kneer, Fritz Schiffers, and Lukas Stöver.

ジュリアン＝ヤコブ・クニアーは、パリとベルリンを拠点に活動するスイス出身のアーティスト。

彼の作品は、対立するナラティブ（物語）をレディメイドとして交配させることで、道徳や自己愛的な自己といったテーマにユーモアや皮肉を込めてアプローチする。現代の時代精神を象徴するオブジェクトを古代の神話や伝承の視点から精査しながら、人間の精神構造の根本原理に立ち返ることで、私たちが当然と思い込んでいる社会的・文化的二項対立――たとえば「善／悪」「美／醜」「病／健常」といった概念を掘り起こし、問い直します。彼はこれらの対立構造を構成要素に分解し、評価から解き放たれたクィアな空間の中で、再構築のために解き放つのです

JULIAN-JAKOB KNEER is a Swiss artist based in Paris and Berlin. Through crossbreeding ready-made opposing narratives, Kneer’s practice riffs on themes of morality and the narcissistic self. Sifting contemporary zeitgeist artifacts through the lens of ancient lore, and inexorably returning to the foundational principles of the human psyche, he digs up and confronts our conceptions of supposed socio-cultural binaries such as right / wrong, beautiful / ugly, sick / healthy. Kneer breaks them down into their constituent parts, and releases them for recasting in a value-free queer space.

Fritz Schiffers / フリッツ・シファース @fritzmarlon

フリッツ・シファースは、アートディレクターおよび映像作家であり、現代のイメージ文化、空間的フィクション、そして集合的記憶という“幽霊のような交差点”を軌道に作品を展開している。 ベルリンを拠点とするアート・エディションシリーズであり雑誌的な形態を持つプロジェクト「Gruppe」の共同創設者であり、建築・パフォーマンス・新メディアを横断的に扱う可変的なデザイン・コレクティブ「Tor Studio」でも活動。彼は異なる領域の間を自在に行き来しながら、著名なミュージシャンやファッションブランドのために幻想的なミザンセーヌ（舞台構成）や映像作品を創出している。 その実践は、欲望・商品化・崩壊の美学を問い直しながら、“見覚えがあるようで存在しない”人工的なイメージを創り出すことを中心に据える。 それは、紙の上であれ、舞台上であれ、空間の中であれ、同じく彼の根本的な関心によって貫かれている。

Fritz Schiffers is an art director and video maker whose work orbits the ghostly intersections of contemporary image culture, spatial fiction, and collective memory. As co-founder of Gruppe, a Berlin-based art edition series disguised as a magazine, and Tor Studio, a shape-shifting design collective operating across architecture, performance, and new media, Fritz moves fluidly between worlds—crafting haunting mise-en-scènes, scenographies, and moving images for renowned musicians and fashion brands, while interrogating the aesthetics of desire, commodification, and collapse. Whether in print, on stage, or in space, his practice revolves around crafting artificial imagery that reflects a moment that feels familiar—but doesn’t exist.

ルーカス・シュトゥーヴァーの作品は、伝統的な職人技術に重きを置きながら、クラフツマンシップと現代技術を融合させることで、文化的遺産と現代的な表現との架け橋を築こうとする。彼はしばしば、室内空間において見過ごされたり、廃棄されたオブジェクトを再利用し、新たな意味や価値を与える制作を行う。

Lukas Stöver’s practice emphasizes traditional artisanal techniques, merging craftsmanship with modern technology to bridge heritage and contemporary expression. He often repurposes overlooked or discarded objects from interior spaces.
