電柱、標識、植生から推論を走らせても、示される回答は変わり続けた。街は、白い仮囲いとビニールで仕切られ、見えないまま別のものとなった。だから、ピンを刺す。「すぐに出発」を選ぶ。知らないドアを開き、読めない文字を追う。どうとでもありえたはずの場所へ向けて。

That room can’t be found. Where did I go wrong? Was it that station? Or was it that exit?
No matter how many possible routes I retrace, in the end, this place is only this place. If that’s the case, then where is “here”? I just wanted to know something so obvious.

Even when I try to speculate the location from utility poles, signs, and vegetation, the answer keeps changing. The city, divided by white construction fences and plastic sheets, has become something else—unseen and unrecognizable.
So, I dropped a pin. Choose “Depart Immediately”. Open an unfamiliar door and follow unreadable letters—towards a place that could have been anything.

1985年埼玉県生まれ。2008年武蔵野美術大学映像学科卒業。美術家。
インターネット上に散らばる画像を再構築し、圧倒的な情報量に対峙するときの感覚をカオス的な画面で表現する。CASHI所属。

Artist. Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1985. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences, in 2008.
He creates a bricolage of web-scattered images and data, reworking by hand upon color prints where characters, photos, texts, and icons all combine to form complex, decorative, and chaotic vivid scenes that reflect the digital and analogue of the contemporary world. He belongs to CASHI.

宇留野圭/Kei Uruno @kei_uruno

1993年岐阜県生まれ。2021年に名古屋芸術大学美術科を卒業後、2023年 同大学大学院美術研究科修士課程を修了。機械部品の鋳造経験を経たのち、美術領域での実践を展開し始めた宇留野は、自身を取り巻く生活世界や絵画、舞台芸術などにインスピレーションを受けながら身近な事象を基軸に、機械や舞台構造を用いた立体作品やインスタレーションを発表しています。

GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE @gillochindox

GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAEは1999年東京都に生まれ、漫画、映画などのサブカルチャーに触れ育つ。都市と青年を題材にコンセプチュアルで物語的な表現を行なっている。現代美術の展覧会とライブを組み合わせて、7年間にわたり物語が展開されていく長編プロジェクト「獸」を開催している。

GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE was born in Tokyo in 1999 and grew up in contact with subcultures such as manga and movies. He grew up with manga, film, and other subcultures. His work is conceptual and narrative, using the city and youth as subjects. He is currently organizing “獸”, a seven-year long project combining contemporary art exhibitions and live performances, in which a story unfolds over the course of seven years.
